Serving in a variety of capacities over the years, the Farmhouse has provided classroom space for all ages of Key students. Currently it serves as a foreign language facility for the Lower and Upper Schools. The original estate’s laundry and servants’ quarters, the Farmhouse interior has been renovated to provide four modern classrooms. Exterior murals on the Farmhouse, painted by Key students and art teachers in the 1960s, add to the unique charm of this historic structure. Valued as one of Key’s distinctive features, these murals were recently restored by Upper School students.
