Orff Institute, Salzburg, Austria

The Orff Institute, located in Austria, is a branch of the Mozarteum (Salzburg's music conservatory) and is the international center for Carl Orff's work. Key School's relationship with the Institute dates back to 1970, when Brigitte Warner—a protégé of Carl Orff—brought Orff Schulwerk to Key School. Now recognized as having the most comprehensive Orff program in the country, if not the world, Key School has maintained ties to the Institute.
