  • Festival Authors' Books Named as Washington Post Non-Fiction Notable Books of 2016

    The Annapolis Book Festival 2017 will feature two authors with books that made the just-announced Washington Post Non-Fiction Notable Books of 2016 list: Rabia Chaudry (Adnan's Story) and Pamela Haag (The Gunning of America). Meet them on Saturday, April 8. Congrats also to Festival 2016 author Ibram X. Kendi whose book Stamped from the Beginning made the list. The Festival brings incredible authors to Annapolis!

  • Thomas Dolby is Featured Author at the Annapolis Book Festival

    The Annapolis Book Festival is thrilled that Thomas Dolby, author of The Speed of Sound: Breaking the Barriers Between Music and Technology is joining us on April 8. Thomas has spent his career at the intersection of music and technology. He was an early star on MTV with his hit song, "She Blinded Me With Science," and then moved to Silicon Valley, where he has an extraordinary career as an entrepreneur. He is at Johns Hopkins University as its first Homewood Professor of the Arts, where he will help create a new center that will serve as an incubator for technology in the arts.
