Dress up, bring your favorite doll, and enjoy a star-spangled day of events with American Girl Caroline Abbott!

Recommended for ages 6 and above

"Meet Caroline" Tea and Doll Spa

11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Join American Girl Doll author, Kathleen Ernst, for a special behind-the-scenes glimpse of Caroline's world. Meet the author for Q&A and photos and enjoy refreshments while your doll gets a new hairstyle from one of our doll technicians. The complete series of Caroline books will be available for sale. Book signings and photo sessions will begin at the conclusion of the presentation. Caroline dolls and doll spa salon chairs will be raffled off. Due to the anticipated popularity of this special event, pre-registration will be required. Tickets are $10. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

The Superhero: The Golden Age of Comic Books, 1938-1950 - 11:30 a.m.
Did you know there is a comic book hero collection on exhibit at the Jewish Museum of Maryland in Baltimore? With the American economy in the throes of the Depression and the rise of fascism in Europe, a group of young, largely Jewish, artists began to create illustrated stories of superheroes, hoping to provide the nation with an optimistic antidote to a growing sense of despair and helplessness.
