With gorgeous weather enhancing the experience, over 3,000 people gathered on Key School's campus for the 14th Annual Annapolis Book Festival. This free community event was filled with music, interesting panel discussions featuring over 60 authors, including Diane Rehm, loads of children's activites, and lots of new and used book sales. The love of reading was evident everywhere you looked. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2017.

The Annapolis Book Festival is thrilled to announce that Diane Rehm will be joining us on Saturday, April 16! She is the long-time host of WAMU's Diane Rehm Show and a true Washington treasure. Her new book On My Own chronicles the protracted death of her husband John due to Parkinson's Disease, and her struggles as she found herself alone. His decision to refuse food, water and medicine in an effort to end his life moved Diane to make a stand for the right to die movement.
