9th Grade Island Odyssey
September 2010

This unique-to-Key trip takes students into the heart of the Bay environment as they experience its ecosystem first-hand and meet the people who are dependent on its health. Grappling with the creation of their own “civilizations,” part of the curricular focus of the trip that complements their study of Ancient Civilizations, the students also learn the importance of team-work and solidify new friendships. A September tradition for all ninth graders, the Island Odyssey is a memorable way to begin the Upper School experience at Key.
