  • JSTOR Supports Student Research

    Posted December 11, 2012
Students at Key learn that libraries are not only buildings with rooms full of books and computers, but gateways to information. All three of Key’s libraries—Manse, Ford K. Brown, and Upper School—subscribe to databases that expand available resources exponentially and offer students, faculty, and parents the tools for advanced research and information retrieval. The newest offering on Key’s subscription databases page is JSTOR. Short for “journal storage,” JSTOR is a scholarly archive of humanities, social sciences and science journals. It includes over 1,000 titles, and regularly adds new titles and past issues of existing titles as they become digitized. Once available only at the university level, JSTOR is now accessible to secondary school students.
