Medieval Studies Unit
After successfully completing their notable African American biographies and presenting their portraits in an assembly for our Africa/African American unit of study, the children have now entered the "Medieval Times." During the final trimester, they will tackle a series of tasks in order to climb The Feudal Ladder.

Each third grader read the biography of a notable African American, and then wrote a book report summarizing the significant facts of their challenging and successful lives. Portraits were then illustrated and shared at the assembly, along with fascinating facts that highlighted their lives.
