5K/10K and Family Fun Run

The October 21, 2012 5K/10K and Family Fun Run was a huge success with more than 240 runners taking part in the fun! The Key School Parents’ Association extends its gratitude to Bluepoint Race Management and to parent co-chairs Rise Lancoon and Tom Nelson, as well as to all of the volunteers who helped make this year’s race one to remember.

The Key School Parents' Association is sponsoring the 32nd annual 5K/10K and Family Fun Run. This year's race will be held on October 21, 2012, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Key School.

Runners can opt for the 10K or 5K, both of which are USA Track & Field certified courses, or participate in the Family Fun Run (approximately one mile). Runners of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Refreshments will be available for all. The USATF certified 5K (MD12017JS) and 10K (MD12018JS) races will be chip-timed by Bluepoint Race Management.

Entry Fees  

5K or 10K 

Online: $25.00 (now through Friday, October 19)
Race day: $30.00

 

Family Fun Run

Online: $15.00/individual or $50.00/family of four or more (now through Friday, October 19)
Race day: $20.00/individual or $65.00/family of four or more

All participants will receive a finishing medal for the race.  

Snooze-in

Support the runners from the comfort of your own bed! Pay a discounted registration fee, sleep in on race day, and receive a race t-shirt for your support!

Online registration closes Friday, October 19 at noon.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all who register by Wednesday, October 3. 

 

 

Race Day

Begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 8:45 a.m.
T-shirts will be available on race day while supplies last.

 

Race Day Schedule

8:00 a.m. – Packet pick up and race day registration
9:00 a.m. – 5K and 10K
9:15 a.m. – Family Fun Run 
Awards Ceremony to follow

 

Awards: (5K/10K): Top two males/female runners overall, plus the top two male/female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under (5K), 11-14 (5K), 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.
