A hearty congratulations to the Middle School Robotics Team, Irrawaddy, that competed in the Maryland State Robotics Competition at UMBC in late February. The team advanced to the state-level event after winning first place for Project Design during a regional competition in December. In reflecting on the competition, team advisor Cara Riedel said, "Our students worked hard and stayed positive through a very challenging day. They endured high levels of competition and difficult questions from judges. I could not be more proud of them."

Team Irrawaddy: Andrew Baker '24, Conor Havard '24 (missed competition due to illness), Chris Lonergan '21, and Ben McCarthy '21.
