Obezags Wrap Up Fall Seasons and Bring Home Championship Titles

  • Upper School

Fall seasons are coming to an end – with great moments and fond memories for all. Volleyball, Field Hockey and Girls' Soccer closed the books on strong seasons, and Boys’ Varsity Soccer will be playing for the MIAA Championship on Sunday. Girls' Cross Country and JV Soccer wrapped their seasons with Championship wins and records set!

Storrie Kulynych-Irvin ’23 was the first Key student ever to win the Girls' Cross Country Individual Championship by defeating girls from every team in the IAAM (A, B and C conferences combined).  Not only did she win the individual championship, she set a course record in the process with a time of 18:17!  Zoe Benitez '22 took 3rd overall in the championship field with a time of 19:23, and Aliya Peremel '23 finished in the top ten of the "C" Conference.

Boys' JV Soccer fought off Indian Creek earlier this week to win the MIAA Championship game 4-1 at Fusco Athletic Park amid cheering home team fans.

Congratulations to all our #ObezagAthletes!
