Upper School Students Venture Outdoors

Upper School Students Venture Outdoors
  • Upper School

Just as soon as we welcomed Upper School students to campus this fall, we were eager to send them away - outdoors that is!

Creating opportunities for experiential learning through outdoor education is an integral part of life at Key. In addition to being really fun, the experiences teach students about the natural world and its relevance to the classroom and help build resilience, grit, and increase emotional intelligence.

Key's Upper School students have gone near (the Chesapeake Bay) and far (Hapers Ferry, WV) in their first outdoor education trips of the school year.
