Your Route to Key
Key School offers transportation options to help make commuting to Key both accessible and predictable for students and parents. Routes are determined based on ridership and demonstrated interest and may be adjusted slightly from year to year to best serve our families.
Key School manages student transportation services in-house, allowing for clearer communication, streamlined coordination, and simplified billing. Transportation fees are billed directly through your FACTS account and aligned with your selected tuition payment plan.
Bus Routes
Key currently offers daily round-trip bus service to Bowie/Davidsonville for students on all instructional days through partnerships with experienced, licensed, and insured transportation providers.
Registration & Planning
Transportation routes and schedules are determined each year based on ridership and family interest. Once enrolled, families receive detailed route information and registration materials to help us plan services that best support our community.
Carpool Options
Key also offers a Carpool Module, a Google-based map that allows current families to connect with other Key School families who live nearby. This tool makes it easier to coordinate carpools and share transportation responsibilities within the community.
