A decision about school operations during the weeks of December 7 and 14 will be shared mid-week. Our ability to have on campus instruction is predicated on our ability to create a Key School bubble that is grounded in negative COVID-19 testing results.

If you are planning for your student to return for on-campus instruction should Key open campus in December, we are requiring a negative PCR test for students before they return.

  • Tests taken any time the week of November 30 are acceptable.
  • We encourage you to test by mid-week if possible, not wait until Friday, so the results are returned before Monday, December 7.
  • Results are taking between 3-5 days.
  • No student may return to campus until they have a negative test on file in the Health Office.
  • Test results should be shared with School Nurse Katie Anderson, kanderson@keyschool.org.
  • Please complete this new survey about your current PCR testing status.

While appointments are challenging to get, we have received reports from parents that there are available openings and that information has been added to the Fall 2020 webpage. If you are not able to acquire a test, please contact Katie Anderson to discuss options.

Several families have already indicated that regardless of the School's decision they are not planning to have their children return for on-campus instruction during December. If you are not planning to send your student back for on-campus instruction in December and have not already notified your Division Head, please do so as soon as possible.
