A reminder to all Key families, faculty and staff:

As shared in the December 18 communication from Key, before returning to on-campus instruction a negative PCR test result (not a rapid test) is required for all students, faculty and staff who:

  • Have traveled outside of the state (also required per Governor Hogan's updated restrictions),
  • And/or engaged in gatherings/social events that extend beyond immediate family.
  • Ideally tests should be done at least 3-5 days after returning from travel or gathering with individuals beyond immediate family.

CRITICAL NOTE: Official documentation from the testing center noting the negative PCR results must be provided to School Nurse Katie Anderson before you may return to on-campus instruction.*

*Faculty/staff who were tested on campus do not need to furnish results          to the Health Office.

A new question about travel has been added to the SchoolPass Daily Wellness Assessment asking all who may have traveled out of state to be certain they are adhering to Key's Travel Restrictions. Please review these restrictions as soon as possible to ensure you and your family are complying with them.
