After School Virtual Chess Club

Chess is a fun game that teaches responsibility, improves discipline and sharpens thinking skills. It also builds confidence and teaches children to think before they act. Research shows the thinking skills children develop in chess carry over to other areas in their lives.

The instructor is Chess Master Gregory Acholonu,  the owner of GCA Children’s Chess since 2013. He has extensive training and experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. He earned the title of National Master in 1982 and the title of Senior Master ten years later.

Key is offering a beginner/intermediate level class for grades 2-5 on Mondays and a more advanced level class for grades 5-12 on Wednesdays.
