What All Families Who Are Coming to Campus Need to Know:

  • We are starting this School year in a modified Phase B schedule.

  • Students should bring their laptops and devices to school fully charged each day and bring headphones/earbuds.

  • Students should only bring necessary items to school each day, lockers and cubbies will not be used.

  • Students are encouraged to bring filled water bottles each day.

  • Students should bring lunch and a snack each day; there will be no on-campus food service at this time. Students will not have access to microwaves.

  • As most members of the staff will be actively supporting morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, please be aware divisional and non-instructional offices will not be fully staffed. All messages will be returned as soon as possible.

A Message for All Key Community Members

For Lower School Families

Teachers have been in touch to share schedules for the first two weeks of school. Gateway families also received a schedule and notes about the first two weeks with specifics about Gateway learning. Virtual days will end early during phase-in weeks to allow teachers time to connect with families through individual conferences. Teachers will reach out to schedule these meetings.

Updates on SchoolPass

All families with students coming to campus for classes must create a profile in SchoolPass before Monday.

Website: https://keyschool.school-pass.net/
App: SchoolPass Parent & Student

Invitations to the SchoolPass Parent app were sent by SchoolPass on Friday afternoon. Contact Tom Adams, Director of IT and Innovation, if you did not receive the "Welcome to SchoolPass" email.

Some issues parents were experiencing on Friday and Saturday with the app have now been resolved. If you had trouble earlier, please try again.  If the problem persists, please contact Tom Adams. If the app is not working, please try the link above in your browser.

Once you log into SchoolPass:
  • You will be asked to set up your parent profile, review your contact information, and download the SchoolPass app on your smartphone.
  • NOTE: At present, the SchoolPass app may not be correctly displaying phone number data. We're actively working with SchoolPass to correct this issue.
  • Do not update your contact information in the SchoolPass app as it will be overwritten nightly by Key's database.
    • Please notify Key School if your contact information has changed.
  • View SchoolPass App Tutorial or Parent Help Page

Please do not send tie masks with younger children who may have trouble securing them.

View more information about face coverings from Key's Health Office.

Did you receive a text from Key School this week?

If not, please complete this Google form. The School will use its texting system to communicate weather-related changes to the school schedule (usually by 6:30 a.m.) and for important messages from Key’s Health Office.

Please be sure to keep your household contact information up-to-date at all times. Changes can be communicated to any Division Office.

Middle & Upper Schoolers - Remember Your Keycards

All Key School buildings are locked during the school day.  Middle and Upper School students need their keycards to gain access.  New students and all fifth graders will receive their keycards when they come to campus.  Returning students should use their cards from last year.  If your card is lost, please notify your homeroom teacher/pod leader and a new card will be issued as soon as possible.
