Students will take part in a series of workshops online with college admission counselors about essays, applications and visiting campus virtually in addition to getting the latest information and updates about standardized testing changes. The workshop will include the following elements: build a college resume (this is different from a job resume), open and start the Common Application and/or Coalition Application, construct draft essay/s for applications (with input from workshop leaders), receive one-on-one feedback about ideas and drafts from the workshop facilitators; conduct mock interview on Zoom or Google Meet with a college admission counselor. Feedback about essays will be available the week after the course as well.
